IMMEDIATELY the police officer 180's and backs down and changes his stance on the offence completely. This dash cam saved this driver from an UNLAWFUL Impound!

He didn’t just say that he was “going” to impound your car; he said it IS impounded “as of now.” What a thug. “Court?” Well, yes, court. Either traffic court then civil court or just civil court. Those are your only two choices ‘as of now.’ Look, officer, I’m not going to litigate this on the side of the road. Trust the judicial system. If you’re innocent and didn’t illegally detain me, you have nothing to worry about.

This is why I have dashcam in all 3 of my vehicles. Vantrue dsscam. Records front, rear and in cabin, in case they want to lie and say I wasn't wearing a seat belt. Records audio and speed as well.

I have a dashcam now. some female cop pulled an illegal u turn in front of me without her lights on. i almost rearended her. called in a complaint. they never told me who she was until I went to the station to ask for it since I knew her car number. I have one now and it records everything i do now

This is not the way I would’ve approached this. I would’ve accepted the citation, and I would’ve allowed him and found my car. I would I would’ve taken him to court, and I would’ve impeached his testimony to where he committed perjury based on the video. I would’ve never volunteered. I had anything on video or audio. Obviously, this police officer is a liar and corrupt.
