POLICE GET SCHOOLED ON THE LAW BY SUPERCAR OWNER! *PULLED OVER FOR NO REASON!*

Join us in our latest vlog where I get pulled over by Calgary Police Service during another busy morning on Macleod Trail...
This time 2 officers in 2 Police cars incorrectly state to me several times that I am not allowed to be driving on a Dealer Plate and they can ticket me. It's unfortunate they had to be read the Alberta Traffic Safety Act by a citizen who is not even trained to know and enforce the law. Several contradicting statements were made by these officers and no tickets were issued (as they had no legal grounds to issue any)

What is so amusing, and at the same time so frustrating, is how that cop continually tries to twist the meaning of the wording around to fit his 'comprehension' of what he WANTS it to say.

Your smile every time you talk to them is perfect. Pro salesman status right there. I love that you posted the regulations, it sounds pretty clear to me, they have never read them. It's a registered and insured vehicle owned by a business, the business can use it however they choose within the law. Thinking of it any other way is silly.

Running plates and pulling anyone over that hasn’t committed a driving offense is ridiculous on all levels. I remember watching videos of this guy in Florida attempting to expose this plate running scheme. Police would appear at his house at all hours of the day, clearly an intimidation tactic until one day the poor guy ended up dead. I pray for the day all this evil is exposed and the people behind it get what’s coming. You handled it like a champ. 👍🏼

There is almost no benefit to arguing the law with officers who *do not care* what the law says.

I love how they warn you that you can expect to be stopped often (by other officers who also don't know the current laws)

I used to be a construction inspector. When I was going to a job site to do an inspection and I wasn't positive about the specifications of what I was going to inspect, I would get out the relevant specs and codes and review them. Seems reasonable, right? So why don't cops do this? Are their egos so big that they think the law is what they say it is, so they don't need to read it. Sadly, I think that is the mindset of the ego driven cop.

Gotta love how nice Canadians are. So incredibly unbelievable. I've never seen a cop talk so much, or I've never seen anyone pulled over talk so much. It's like a little education pow wow. This pull over would be very different in the state of New York.

You might as well have this printed out, circle the personal use section, and hand it to any cop with your license whenever you get pulled over. This must get crazy annoying. Thanks for posting to show the people how to handle a similar situation. Pretty unreal though.

Cops are so clenched butthole on being right all of the time, despite being wrong on most occasions. ESPECIALLY in Canada, basically have Trudeau’s Gestapo on the beat. You handled this very well, and made your scratch off the monetization of the video. Hats off brother!
