#1: as a job applicant I would take that risk.
#2: as a job applicant I would take that small risk.
#3: as a job applicant I think this is an advantage.

As a job applicant it is my own choice how i would like to present me.
Even if rejected for the sole reason of having a picture in the CV, the picture would have fulfilled its purpose because I don't want to work in a company where human factors are ignored.
Later in the job it's the human factors that rule business processes.

But why put a photo in LinkIn when photo in CV is not advisable?

OK. Leave the dummy pictures there.

I have discarded all resumes with pictures. I am put off by it. It is tacky and unprofessional. You should only put a picture on your resume if you are applying for an acting role. Also, there are now ATS tracking systems that are used to help recruiters like me. Having fancy templates and pictures will send your resume to spam. We will either never receive the resume or you will instantly receive a rejection email. A LinkedIn account is your social media page. A resume and a social media page are not equals. We just want to know if you are capable of handling the job you are applying for. And like the gentleman in the video stated, I will do a LinkedIn search if your resume is appealing.

I think the choice of putting photos is depending on the requirements as well. If you think that will help because company need someone presentable for the role, so I will do why not.

You sell yourself furst before selling your skill... I'll take that risk of putting my picture. If the job is meant for me, then it's mine.
