This video seems to convey that having a better resume alone will land you a job. While you don't want your resumes to look bad, it can sometimes mean the difference between getting hired and not. The main thing that will make you standout from other applicants is how you sell yourself and being able to back up everything that you write down.

Heres something that might help people. Lets start with objective. Do you need it or not. Heres the answer. If there is something you must explain because your resume isnt targeted to one thing (different work experiences in different positions and industry, no work experience, gap year) then you need an objective to clearly tell the recruiter “alright listen bud, your position that your offering is my fuken passion now so hire me.” If you legit are targeting one thing and pretty much all your work experience is all just one position cuz you fuken dedicated like that, then alright you get the benefit of saving some space and having an objective.
