Darwinian Evolution Can Never Explain This

Is evolution correct, or is creationism correct? Where does the evidence point? It seems that evolution has had a long time in the sun (particularly macroevolution) but maybe it's going away...
The darwinian principles we've based so much of our lives upon are going the way of the dodo, very slowly. Call it natural selection, if you like. :)

Regarding the sexual reproduction: From Patrick Foley, PhD in evolutionary genetics and much smarter person than me: "Sexual reproduction evolved over a billion years ago from organisms that were not sexually differentiated. The process of differentiating sexually may have been quite gradual.

Populations evolve, not sexes. Early sexually reproducing populations were probably made up of single cells that transferred DNA in both directions equally, as does Paramecium today.

Now it is possible that sex arose as a kind of selfish transfer of DNA from one bacterium to another, in which case a bacterium would have evolved to copy and transmit its DNA to another bacterium, hoping to get the other guy to spread the parasite’s genes. Or it is possible that sex arose from bacterial cells that grabbed up random DNA from their environment in order to “mutate” more effectively. Lots of bacteria do this today, and it helps explain the rapid evolution of antibiotic resistance.

As an aside, this mechanism does not refute the Modern Evolutionary Synthesis. The bacteria are increasing their pseudosexual experiences without any sense of what kind of DNA they are likely to pick up … except that it is DNA that has worked for somebody. It is natural selection that leads to the rapid spread of antibiotic resistance. Most of the incoming DNA is probably useless for the receptive bacterium. Some of it is even parasitic itself. Life is an unholy tangle of mutual deception with occasional bursts of brilliant clarity."


Regarding the eating of unclean pork: Nobody says that the bible is always wrong. Secular people also agree that eating unclean pork is not good for you. This does not mean that this is knowledge that we gained from God.


Regarding the third point which I assume is regarding STDs: The same applies. Knowledge about that sexually transmitted diseases existed was well known. However due to technological limitations it was impossible to know the exact causes (bacteria and viruses).

interesting video! The eyes of almost all creatures are a test to evolution. Even Darwin himself actually mentioned how hard it was for evolution to explain eyes. Its kinda cool
