So far, 2019 is being a year of amazing discoveries and observations, and we are still in April !

So Helium wasn't such a Noble Gas when it was younger. It's a familiar story: slumming with the Hydrogen when you're a wild teen, living in a gated community when you're middle-aged.

The first molecule was HeH ???
I knew it, the universe is just one big joke!

It just always blows my mind "and now that we have the tech to spot helium hydride ions in planetary nebulas". I mean, those nebulas are far away, molecules are small, it is so mind boggling sometimes what humans can do. I love it.

That molecule is the only thing that should be typing 'First' in any comment section.

Scientist 1: “Hey guys, what do you think about this new receiver? I haven’t come up with a name for it yet, but still.”
Group of scientists: “It’s GREAT!”
Scientist 1: “My god”

So they found it? That's just great...

Wouldn't a very high frequency mean a very short wavelength? Seems the reason for the far infrared would be due to the redshift from extreme distance/expansion.
