💢 I was so pissed at this scene so i just wanted to share my frustration...

first the man was robbed of his hard fought dominated victory by getting told to slow down.
then robbed for even the tie.... I can't.

Your enemy knows your worth better than your friends....

That salute by Ferrari is worth more than anything to Miles. Beautiful moment between two automotive gentlemen.

Well, being saluted by Enzo Ferrari is a hell of a prize. 🏎

At the end, when Ken said “they sell cars huh?” He was referring to Ford Henry 2 standing up there. Meaning that all Ford every cared about was their image, to get that photo of 3 Fords crossing the line together, anything to boost their image and sell more cars back home. While Ferrari cares primarily about winning races, not so much as selling cars. This scene got me.

A hats-off from old man Enzo is more precious than any trophy. The man lived and breathed motorsport.

I actually choked up at this . Ken Miles got cheated of the triple crown, he will forever be a winner in my eyes and a lot of other fans / racers

You weren't racing to win, you were racing to prove a point. And everybody now knows it.

When Ken come out of the car with a big smile waving at people thinking he was being congratulated...only for the woman with the flowers to walk right past him to another driver. And he looks on, still with a smile, confused as to what was going on....breaks my heart. Christian Bale man...what a f*cking legend.

“You promised me the drive, not the win”. You left out the best damn part of this scene

I'm gunna buy a Ken Miles shirt now. This man needs recognition and respect. Ferrari was always my favorite brand as a kid, but things like this really make it hard to still make that statement.

This was a very emotional scene for me. Working hard for the team win and in the end realising that suites and ties robbed you from the deserved award for your work in the win based on some bell curve logic. That one senior person who knows your worth praising you behind the scene.

Even though that scene is inaccurate it really shows the difference in philosophies between Old man Ferrari and Ford.
Ford raced so they could sell more cars, Ferrari sold cars just so he could Race.

Although the ending is infuriating, Miles seems to take it well. For him it was always about the racing, to perfect the car and the driving, not to win superficial status. As such, the knowledge of having driven the best race, and the respect of Enzo Ferrari are enough to him.
