Kurdistan will never be a country because of a few reasons.
First of all they would be a landlocked country with little to no resources.
Second of all they would be surrounded by great powers like iran and Turkey.
The kurds originated in Iran and they are one of dearest of people in Iran. Just like other ethnicities that are living in Iran.
In Iraq Saddam used a chemical bomb on Kurdish citizens that were living in Iraq. Iran condemned it and retaliated and defendes the Kurdish people in Iraq.
In Turkey they are being tortured and heavily suppressed to forget their past and ethnicity so they would identify themselves as Turks.

The only time that iran has taken any action against the kurds is when a terrorist organization began killing kurds (their own people that were living in Iran).
