August 2022: Portra 160, 400 and Ektar are the cheapest options for colour neg 35m(in the UK at least). The supply issues have made what one seem impossible a reality. I'm sure a guy from Kodak said that the price increase would be Justified, as they would you use the money to up production

Thanks very much for this! I have started shooting film again seriously after a long stint using only digital cameras. Over here in Tokyo more people seem to be shooting film and the development labs are pretty busy. I also see many young people shopping for inexpensive film cameras, so hope that maybe with more people shooting prices either remain stable, or maybe even go down again. Too many words, but again thanks for showing the difference between these two films. I’ll search for a roll or Porta 400 and see what it looks like.

Hi, I have question. I've only use point & shoot pentax zoom 90. Is it worth it to use portra 400?.
