Hey Alux. I just wanted to thank you and tell you that you've changed my shopping habits. Another cheap, Walmart belt broke. Instead of going back to Walmart, I researched quality belts online. I bought a good one at Macy's. Thanks for teaching me to buy quality, long-lasting stuff instead of cheap stuff that won't last long.

I love hosting, and this is a pretty good list...EXCEPT for the arranged seating. People see seating as a hierarchy. If you place some people close to you and others further, some will assume you see them as less important.

Halloween this year was a failure. Everything went wrong! It was cold and I served cold food I tried multiple times to light logs of wood on fire and they wouldn't burn my other host didn't show up I was overwhelmed and had guest invite other guest.
I appreciate attentive inviting hosts.
Maybe 1 day I'll be able to be 1 as well.

You guys didn't mention hosting at restaurants🤭. My worst experience was witnessing a disaster of a dinner party as a waitress. The host of the party didn't call ahead and reserve a spot, people arrived 30 mins later and was surprised to see their party still waiting to be sat. It was more than 12 adults and some kids, we didnt even have enough space to sit them all, no matter how we arranged the tables, there was just no way.. they ended up sitting separately! Their food was sent out at different times to stop it from getting cold, there was no way to get all the plates out at the same time with the same temperature, even if we microwaved it some would still get cold while the others were being warmed. And the icing on the cake, the host complained about the noise he 'didn't expect it to be so busy' on a Saturday afternoon. They blamed the restaurant for the experience and after serving 12+ people i was tipped $10🙈
