I hear this advice a lot and idk if I agree. The idea that taking 10 minutes to craft beautiful personalized emails is a bit too optimistic when it comes to cold emailing especially in the music industry. The proof is in the unread receipts. If most of them don’t care to read your emails in the first place, I don’t think you’ll really be burning bridges with any of them just because another one bit first.

What I’m suggesting isn’t bulk emailing with as many bcc’s as possible but instead, using something like mail merge that inputs peoples names and company names for faux personalization and reaching tons of companies that way

I was on the warpath to mass submissions - Im glad I caught this video, I reached out to roughly 20 places with various tunes, but, luckily, I have others of the same genres they could select from. Im going to chill on reaching out and heed this advice. Great video.

Quick Question, do you have any tips for syncing your music outside of libraries for songs that are with vocal content? not just instrumental tracks but songs that are on spotify already, etc. I guess more tailored for singer/songwriter stuff? I know you focus a lot on instrumentals and music that necessarily is more about making 2-3 tracks a week. hope youre well!

When you talk about 'albums', what do you mean? you are selling full songs to these people? I thought this industry was more about making little background tracks etc... interesting video, and makes sense in a simplistic way... of course this is how you should do it, now i just have to figure out if i have something somebody would want, and where the libraries are and what they need
