I cant begin to imagine how stressful it would feel to have 100s of people following you, and hanging on your every word as Luke Skywalker. Talk about a job with pressure. Either that or all the attention is exactly what the actor loves, and they can thrive in that environment. Still a crazy undertaking either way. I have to give Luke a lot of credit. I think that is the toughest character to play. Other characters have distinctive makeup, hairstyles, or costumes to make them recognizable but Luke doesn’t have any of that. Even characters like Peter Pan have distinctive traits such as being mischievous or playful. Luke is just calm and confident. He can’t overact to sell the character because that wouldn’t fit being a wise Jedi. Plus he has to know all his Star Wars trivia backwards and forwards. I hope he’s getting the credit he deserves. It seems like people are being super harsh and I don’t think that’s fair.
