I have a new mace legacy saber from Disney store and my blade is very bright purple like the neo pixel

I think there is a older Disney mace where it is more pink colour and has loose ignition button

It still blows my mind that the width of the licenced sabers is still based on the original master replica fx from the 90's. Every single unlicensed lightsaber company has slimmed them down to match up with the actual props. Why can't hasbro?

The only interesting difference is the hilt. All these sound comparisons and so on, from Disney and some Neopixel Hilts, are always the same. One of these is actually enough. In my opinion you should concentrate more on the hilt differences

1 can’t be played with since it’s made out of cheap plastic and the only metal is on the hilt

1 has a PBC blade that can take a serious beating and doesn’t get LED’s burnt out and has a very heavy but still nice to feel hilt

to all the people saying the neopixel is a better investment and that Disney should make higher quality lightsabers: well of course neopixel is superior, there's no denying that, but people should undestand that the Galaxy's edge's versions are just souvenirs, the target audience is not hardcore collectors but park guest that go "oh cool, that's the red guy's lightsaber, I might get it" sure let's say that hypotetically you could say to this person the wonders of neopixel how you can change the colors on the fly, make more realistic sounds change the way it turns on and off, but you know what the average theme park will say?... " I don't need all that fancy stuff, all I need is that is the red guy's lightsaber and it can turn on and off".
Let's not forget people these are theme park products not a collector's shop, Disney knows this and would rather sell decent enough products so that people buy more, over having really cool but expensive products just looking pretty in the shelf.
