Want to learn how to use Photoshop in less than 20 minutes?

Photoshop is a photo editing and photo manipulation application for desktop computers on Mac or Windows PC and mobile devices such as the iPad.

You can get photoshop directly from the Adobe website here: (Affiliate link)

You can use it to add effects, paint and even edit videos.
Photoshop was invented back in 1987 and it’s owned by a company called Adobe.

In this video, I want to show you how to work with an image and I will also cover how to create a graphic in Photoshop.
And I’ll show you how to combine the two at the end.

If you like my teaching style and want to master Photoshop, I do have a full course on Photoshop for beginners that I update all the time.

How to create a new file?
Once you install and open photoshop, you can create a project by creating a new document. You can create a document in any dimension depending on your needs.

Photoshop layout:
Inside Photoshop, you can three important sections. Toolbar, canvas, and layers panel.
You can reset your workspace to get the initial Photoshop layout.

How to change image brightness?
You can change the brightness and contrast of an image using a simple brightness and contrast filter.

How to change image saturation?
You can also boost the saturation and vibrance of an image using a filter.

How to create shapes?
To create shapes, you can use the shape tool.

How to add text?
To add text, click the text tool or choose T on your keyboard. You can change the size, color, font, and many other settings with text.

How do you export or save?
You can save the Photoshop file if you want to come back to it or save it as JPEG or PNG to post online or on a website or sent to print.

I am starting out in Photoshop & Illustrator & am starting to feel quite overwhelmed. So, so much info I am getting lost.
I think I want to be an expert already & find myslef frustrated because I don't even know how to use even the basic tools yet. Some people told me they gave up on it because it was too hard- but I am trying to get it so I can edit my art work & photos.

Thanks- I am currently taking classes in preparation for the ACE. I’m going to come back here and sign up if I run into problems. I like your teaching style. Clear and concise.❤

This was a great mini-course! It was more like a "clean-up" course as I took one that was much, much longer (very good, though), but it didn't discuss some of the basic topics in this course like Custom Shapes, Fill Foregrounds, etc. I'll have to check out more of your videos!

Thank you for this including the link. Although I wish it was like the old days where you bought a program and it was yours to keep. You didn't have to rebuy it every month.

I cant believe you haven't responded to my email from over a week ago. I cant add your course to basket (as below) so therefore cant buy it. I`m also unsubscribing from your channel as its pointless watching your videos, then be keen to buy courses you offer and find you cant buy them. Why waste time putting a video together, offering a course and then people cant buy it!

I got PS again after 2 years. I used to be able to place 1-1000 images(layers) on my screen, select ANY ONE, and move it, rotate it, whatever I wanted. Now, as soon as I place an image, that's where it stats, I CANNOT RESELECT IT and move. What the hell did PS do?

So if I have the photography plan do I need to make any additional purchases? I am trying to find the best app and not have to keep buying app after app. I also want to check before I take ypur class because that is a must and the prices can Not be beat for anyone looking to take it!

well i have been work on photoshop for the past 18 years and i install the new photoshop 2022 now and i must say i can not work on this new version . it seams they make basic things impossible to do . i can not transform the size of my layers easy because for some reason in ther mind they make that option legacy so each time i want to make that i have to press ctrl+t.... just why??? and then we have now 2 ways to save images instead of just on simple way. why make things like this complex when the old ways work perfect. bye bye adobe

I'm interested in purchasing your online full course photoshop class. Are there any current issues with the purchasing process that I should know about? This question is in reference to a customer that was not able to add your course to his basket and therefore was unable to complete his purchase.
