Learn Photoshop in 5 MINUTES! Beginner Tutorial

In this video I'll show the basics on starting to use Adobe Photoshop and some tools and effects used to edit photos!

Short Cuts Stated in the Video:
Crtl + N = New Document
Crtl + J = Duplicate
Crtl + E = Merge
Crtl + G = Group
Alt = Scale Photos for center
Alt + Shift = Uniformly Scale Photos from the center
Crtl = Skew photos
Crtl + Alt = Skew on two axises
Esc = Delete Layer Changes
Enter = Save Layer Changes
Crtl + U = Hue and Saturation
Crtl + I = Invert color
Crtl + F = Re-apply last effect
Crtl + Font size = Dynamic font size changing
X = swap color swatch
Crtl + S = Save
Crtl + Shift + S = Save as

a) Important Key to control the Photoshop.
1. Ctrl + n = Open new
2. Ctrl + j = duplicates a layer
3. Ctrl + e = delete a layer
4. Ctrl + g = make group
5. Alt + “hold click mouse left” = adjust picture become big and small
6. Alt + shift + “hold click mouse left” = adjust picture become big and small with same length and high
7. Hold ctrl + “hold click mouse left” = adjust picture become deformation
8. Hold ctrl + hold alt + “hold click mouse left” = adjust picture follow with X angle deformation
9. Enter = To close up picture adjustment
10. Escape = To return to picture adjustment
11. Ctrl + u(after rasterize layer) = change picture colour(Hue, Saturation, Lightness)available
12. Ctrl + i = whole picture become negative film
13. Ctrl + f = make picture become more blur
14. Ctrl + r = appear ruler on X and Y to measure the horizontal and vertical line
15. Window to Adjustment = To adjust / change picture colour(a lot of)
16. Right click a “layer 0”, Copy Layer Style, right click a “layer 1”, Paste Layer Style, If want to delete layer style with right click, Clean layer style.
17. Click eye effect to turn off the visualization of those effect(“layer 0”)
18. X = to exchange “Black” and “White” colour’s place.
19. Ctrl + s = Save a project as Photoshop
20. Ctrl + Shift + s = Save as “PNG or JPEG” file in PC.

This video seems helpful to someone who has some exposure to photoshop but not for the person who has not. It's moving quickly and doesn't allow a true beginner to grasp the information being presented. Slowing down and introducing each topic/function before diving in would have made a difference. Photoshop in 10 or 15 minutes for beginners might be more realistic for the real beginner.

Although, I don't think this was geared towards beginners. It does show the basics (which is what I wanted), but beginners would be lost.

Thanks! I've been using GIMP for ages and switching to Photoshop is annoying, this tutorial was great for learning the basic differences.

I'd also like to mention that for zooming in and out, you can select the magnifying glass on the left and enable scrubby zoom in the options at the top. After doing that, you can hold space+ctrl and drag up/down to zoom in and out. Additionally, if you're zoomed in and you want to move the screen around, you can just hold space and drag across the document.
