What a blessing this lesson is to me, nuggets of gold are in the word of God. Thank you David for sharing. I could read 2 Tim 2:26 over and over again and not see until you brought this to light for me and others "that THEY may recover THEMSELVES". What a blessing it is to leave the important things to God and to the hearers of His word, so that we can only share the truth to others and then it is in God's hands and then the hearer. The full context of Galatians 2 clearly shows that there is one Gospel and that Peter had erred for a time being pressured by the judaizers. Galatians 2:14, Peter was not walking in accordance with the singular Gospel.

Hi David, thanks so much for the enlightening message provided. Very true about individuals having the responsibility of "recovering themselves". It is so crucial for one to step back/outside from a potential controlling situation to make a clear evaluation. It is very difficult for one to recognize these types of warning signs when they themselves are entrenched in a compromising situation.

In my opinion the fatal flaw in MAD is the fact it does not have the theological underpinnings to deal with the 'therefores' of Paul's teaching to the Church. MAD excels at the Doctrine of Justification while failing to properly address Paul's teaching on Sanctification or Church discipline, for example Romans 6 & 7, Galatians 5-6, I Corinthians 5&6, 2 Timothy 2...these are just ones off of the top of my head.

Mid Acts Hyperdispensationalism has an erroneous man made formula that all Scripture is twisted to fit. It utilizes Jehovah's Witness like circular reasoning to avoid Scriptural examination and refutation of it's errors. The formula becomes the final authority, not the word of God.

Please consider that mid acts dispensationalism is heresy. Galatians 2:7 is NOT enlisting two gospels. It is talking about the same gospel of Jesus Christ being proclaimed TO (not for) Jewish and Gentiles. The distinction is the audience, not the message. Specifically, the Greek word "ho" which is translated to "for the" or "to" is a direct article that most closely translates "to the". If they were 2 different gospels, a preposition would be used.
Furthermore, this false teaching shifts the focus of God's redemptive work from: the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ from the dead. To: the kingdom.
There are many many other points that show that this teaching is heresy.

What about Galatians 2:14? Why would Paul correct Peter if there was more than one truth and one Gospel? Mid acts are fools.
