How to Make Any Video Sound Your Ringtone on iPhone

To make the sound from a video into a ringtone, you’ll have to take a couple of steps.

First, you’ll need to convert the video into an MP3 file by extracting the audio. You can do this with a free converter app. You can use the ringtone maker app for this. With this app, simply choose the video file, press it, and choose to make a ringtone.

Then, you’ll need to save that mp3 as a ringtone. Apple makes an app to do exactly that. It’s called GarageBand and you can download it for free from the App Store.

The newest version of Garage Band doesn’t show me the imported file when I tap on My Songs. It shows me iCloud files. None of them can be “shared” to create a ring tone. 😔
