Bendpak 4 Post Lift - Unpack and Install - Four Post Auto / Vehicle / Truck / Car / Lift

This a quick video on our experience with the BendPak HD-9XW 4-post lift. We are sharing its unpack and install in a residential garage.

Just got the HD-9XL and your video really helped. Bendpak made a change recently I guess, as none of my pulleys came with grease zert fittings or holes. So, I would tell new owners to make sure and get some grease on those pins and pulleys BEFORE installing.

Excellent video. I can't tell you how many times I referred back to this as I was assembling the exact same lift. Well done! In regards to the cable ends that get secured into the plate underneath the ramp. I would imagine once all four cable ends are secured you tighten the big nut at that point? Or is it easier to tighten that once the lift is operational? The big nut seems difficult to tighten with the ram extended all the way out..

How did you remove the Sheaves? Mine look to be welded into place.

Assembling my HD-9XW as we speak. When you say you leveled the runways with the ladders first, I can’t find that anywhere in the instructions. Did you adjust the jam nuts and ladders to get the runways somewhat level while it rested on the locks before doing any cable adjustments??

Did your lift come with the momentary switch to raise it or did you have to supply that?

Was your distal cross-beam on the driver side backwards? I noticed the windows not lining up

You have your cables twisted. They are upside down. A and B should be on top for them to be straight.
