Garage Car Lift - All The Answers You Need Before Buying

I have been getting several questions about my lift lately. I wanted to make a video about it a while back but the garage was cluttered and I wanted some things out of the way before I did it. I love having this lift in my garage. It was originally purchased for extra car storage but I do use it a lot for working on projects. I wanted to make this video to show people you CAN fit a 4 post car lift in a 2 car garage. I talk about the ceiling height needed and the overall size of my garage. I also at the end of the video show a diagram I have drawn to show all the measurements.

Excellent video very informative. I just purchased a second BendPak for my shop but am building a new garage at my residence and am going to transfer one of the lifts there to store two cars and you gave me things to think of for the build ie ceiling height, , thicker concrete to support the weight and garage door placement. I measured a friends lift height and your ok with 12’ but I’m going 13’ with can lighting just to be safe. Thanks again

Thanks for the price points! I just got a quote and they started blowing smoke up my rear end with a quote of $5k for exactly what you stated you did (Remove overhead garage door, install side load garage motor, lift door rails higher towards ceiling (as high as possible). I thought $5k was outrageous, thanks for the confirmation.
