Oh ok I'm with you now, you had me worried for a moment like damn if she can move that thing with the M3 on it by herself nobody better ever make her mad. Someone will come outside to their car flipped over. 😂😂

Try putting the caster wheel inside the arm instead of on top of the plate. I just built my first Bendpak HD9 and there isn't any documentation of the proper way to build these. I noticed that putting the caster on top of the plate meant trying to bolt to an arm with a lot of weld. Bolting the caster to the other side of the arm where there isn't any welding done (at least on mine) allows it to fit flat and much nicer. It also decreases the angle of the arm and allows it to go flat to the cross arm. Give it a shot, it sure made a big difference in the way mine bolted together and I still have 3/4" gap between the floor and bottom of the post. I look at it like this, Bendpak went to a lot of design to make sure the proper side fit best. The just didn't tell anyone about it and figured we'd all know. My guess anyway. Look at some other caster videos and you'll see where one guy built it as I mentioned while another fellow had problems getting the arm to go flat. My caster arms went flat against the cross bar and I wasn't stepping on the lift runway. But then first thing I did after assembly was to lube all pulleys and cables. Even sprayed dry lube on the post locking ladder and plastic shoes to reduce drag. Oh and a 2x4 for leverage "might" have helped.

Know you did this a long time ago but it proves just how strong and determine you are and how smart you are by realizing that you would of needed a lot of help... Thanks for showing this and remember to have a merry Christmas and happy New year... Much love

That's a simple, but really smart design! Sometimes engineering can be overly complicated, and sometimes, it can be brilliant in its simplicity.

Not sure how I missed this one, with how long you’ve had it posted. If you lower the lift onto the casters kit more so the black brackets are level with the floor, the casters work much easier and you can literally move it with one hand. Just info for the next time you need to roll it around the shop

Love your videos I’ve got two mustangs of my own. Love them.If that was my 350 I would just fix the holes and paint that deck lid and still get that carbon deck lid . Then you have two in case you ever had to go back. Keep the good work love everything your doing. Ed

By not lowering it so the caster arms are flat, you are making it harder to move. The casters can’t swivel as easily as they could if the arms were flat. Try lowering it more and see if it’s easier.

Nicely done. Looks like a good workout moving the beast. Quick question - I read that you have to use an air compressor on the Bendpak before lowering it, but I didn't see you do that. Perhaps I misunderstood the instructions. Looking to buy the same unit, but also looking for convenience. Thanks.
