Fascinating video, I purchased my wife some lab grown diamonds when they first came out not because they were cheaper but because I was so excited by this brand new technology. They are earrings and just look like exceptionally good diamonds which they in reality are!

I bought my wife a natural diamond engagement ring… told her about the lab grown so she did some research. After learning she could get a slightly bigger, better diamond for a quarter of the cost she wanted me to return the natural diamond and get the lab grown in its place. She is very very happy with it and that’s all that matters to me. I too prefer the natural because it’s just that.. but she’s happier with the lab so it’s good 👍🏻.

Hello, I don't know anything about investing and I'm looking to invest, any help? As well who can I reach out to?

2 or 3 months salary was started when that salary equated to a $800 to $1200 ring on the high end. Costs of living was different then when you could buy a home for $27, 000 and a new Corvette for $4500

Love the video as usual. I asked my wife what she would prefer after describing prices for a 2 carat. She said she would prefer natural. I would always disclose nature or man made to my wife. Honesty is always the best policy

I am sorry, but I still love my natural diamond, which is high grade in colour and clarity. It wouldn't feel the same if it was made in a laboratory. You can get emerald made in a lab, but I'd only want an emerald coming from the ground

I love that it's called the Sherlock Holmes Machine. That's definitely what we need to tell the difference here, I couldn't tell them apart at all. Very educational video, thank you.

VVSI excellent cut, 3 carat, lab diamond, $1370 out of China now. Too bad tariffs apply now. Many US jewellers are having sleepless nights because prices are falling so fast.

I think there's something special about buying something that took millions of years to be naturally made with heat and pressure. An object that is OLDER that dinosaurs. Its pretty cool if you think of it.

BUT if i got married, an engagement ring at $2k is a great idea.

Hands down I would and do buy lab grown gemstones! I even have CZ's that I enjoy very much! I do like lab grown diamonds, but I still think they are grossly overpriced! In the meantime ( waiting for price to come down) I would shop natural white zircon, which are akin to diamonds in light refraction and beauty. At the end of the day for the vast majority of ladies, jewelry is just a pretty fashion accessory. Wearable art and design, worn to compliment clothing and personal style. To spend copious amounts of money for that purpose is nuts, especially if you are a person who likes their jewelry to have "presence".

I would have hoped you talked about the different technologies used to produce labs and the consequences on quality

Definitely lab grown. I actually see them significantly disrupting the real diamond market in a few years.

1969my husband brought me an engagement diamond ring. That time we were young and have not much knowledge about diamond.my ring got a dark spot in the middle.l treasure it and know this is a special piece and no other ring can compare. He is in haven now but whenever l look at the ring everyday, he is actually living there.l love that special dark spot.

I'd buy the one that didn't support slavery and murder in 3rd world countries...

Been a bench jeweler for 40 years. Our local AGS Jewelry store sells 9 lab created diamonds for every 1 natural and the gap is getting wider.

Never thought I could be bothered listening to a video about Lab grown Diamonds but, you made it fun to watch ! Of course, when you see just one Diamond, Real or Labgrown, you woulden't see the difference but, one next to the other..., I observed a difference in light.
The Labgrown seemed somehow like 'to perfect', a bit more bluish. I guess I could chose a slightly more yellow tint in a Labgrown one. ; ))
This was a fun Video !
