I love the DAS talk explainer . Makes the daily summary more enjoyable. Thanks for the extra time for the VO work on these.

I used to work on towers, and I’ve been in many lifts. 80’ lifts sway a good bit, once you get up to a 120’ they sway a lot, and then the biggest lifts are 180/185’ and man those sway A LOT. Like 15 feet side to side. If you touch the joystick to boom left or right at full height you will fly like 10-15’ and it’s terrifying. Also if you spend all day up on a manlift and then go to bed shortly after, it feels like you’re on a boat swaying in the ocean. A very weird feeling.

lol the difference between "open hole in the side of the ship in the open air" at starbase and "let's put on full bunny suits and be careful what we touch" inside a new glenn tank is striking.

That was great. I enjoy the commentary. Makes it easier in the morning when I’m getting ready to not miss something because I don’t always have time to watch every second of a video so it helps when it’s discuss things and I can simply glance over and see what it’s talking about, as I’m getting ready for work.

In the UK we call those lifts MEWP's - mobile elevated work platform, and it doesn't have to be windy, just moving around as you work causes swaying that's kinda like being on a boat. And like being on a boat, some people get seasick and can't work on them, others struggle with fear of heights. So those of us that like working on them don't have much of a fight to get a go XD.
Great video as always, loving the narration.

Getting used to being on a boom lift is basically the same as getting sea legs on a small boat, at first it's super unnerving but once you get used to it your legs just do all the work while it wobbles

These narrated versions are soooo much better than 10 minutes of ambient noise and time-lapse!

I was cutting trees in a man lift for 6 hours. When I came home I got in the shower when I closed my eyes I lost my balance and almost fell. Crazy man
