It would be really nice for the Clips to show clearly how much the speed it up by, 5x 10x et cetera, so there was some indication of how long these clips are representing

Thanks BocaChicaGal. The piping on the new actuator looks bigger, that should make them move faster with a larger volume of fluid to work with.

The new actuator is really impressive ! As well as the wooden frame they built to transport it !

Driving that crane is like driving around with a full-sized radio tower.

Can you imagine if Booster 7 and Ship 24's first attempt to orbit goes flawlessly and SpaceX will be scratching their heads going "well, now what? We were expecting to learn something from this but nothing failed..." lol 😄

I hope I never get used to the mind blowing scale of everything.
That actuator arm was huge compared to the workers. Obviously it needs to be but wow, just wow.

I have theory, new actuator seems to be self containing unit with pumps and valves, old was dependent on tower hydraulics so it wasn't as responsive as it can be as single independent unit with cable for powering which can transfer power quickly with less loses than lots of pipes transferring hydraulic fluid from tower.

SpaceX is leaving nothing to chance. Continually upgrading everything they can shows how much they are trying to make the first flight and recovery succeed. Thank you, Mary, for such wonderful coverage.

The "Moment-Arm" stresses on the Chopstick and Tower assemblies will be tremendous!

Guess my speculation from yesterday has fallen apart pretty quickly - the chopsticks were moved into this position to allow crane/crew access to the actuator that was removed.

Water deliveries to OTF, that's interesting. We must be getting close to some B7 action.

Is it just me or does the new Actuator look a bit beefier than the old one?

Looking forward to watching the documentary on all the giant machinery used in building this place on The Discovery Channel sometime in the future! 😄

Since inception, the collective amount of manhours to design, fabricate, assemble and install the Boca Chica complex has got to be STAGGERING! God, please continue to bless the USA!
