2 x 5^k = 100
5^k = 50
5^(k-1) = 10
(K-1) log5 = log 10 = 1
K = 1 + 1/log5

5^k + 5^k = 100
2*5^k = 100
5^k = 50
5^k = 2*5^2
5^(k-2) = 2
k - 2 = log5(2)
k = log5(2) + 2
