To be honest, I came to christianity because of the privileges and benefits of christianity (mainly heaven).
However, the more time I spent getting to know God, my faith grew more genuine. And my focus slowly shifted from heaven to God.

Now I can see the positive impact from the commandments and other rules that God gave us.

Preach brother. After becoming a Christian I struggled with alcohol addiction for many years. I justified drunkenness by telling myself I wasn’t drunk just having a drink or 2. Only I wasn’t stopping after a drink or 2 I was becoming drunk every weekend. God has saved me from drunkenness now. Thank you Jesus

Thank you for these wise words. I do fall into these categories. Lately, I've been closer than ever to God than ever before. I feel better because of my renewed faith in God. Jesus is my savior. I stand by the Bible 100%. I repent of my sins. When I do sin, it is like a nightmare I don't feel good about them anymore. So, repentance makes me see the light. I sin less. I'm letting the fruit grow. I'm walking the path. I know I'm going in the right direction now. Praise the Lord🙏😁
