The first line EXACTLY! I laugh at all my dates now when they say she should be "ambitious". I'm like do you even know what it takes to have one ambitious person in the family? It takes a lot of sacrifice, courage to have one ambitious person around you. Career oriented is still a very small thing, to say "Ambitious" is a different thing altogether. They can barely live with a woman who has a purpose in life which doesn't involve feeding them, if she's career oriented, you'll hate her and divorce her, and God forbid if she's ambitious, then you will call her "crazy" "insane" and "ill".

Men says, oh ! Women are so soft we are strong we need to protect them and to protect her they put you inside house, in ghoonghat. If a women do really good in their life and are ambitious, most of the people from middle class indian society are proud of her, wish good things to her, and even wish that she does more and be more ambitious ... But hardly few people come forward to marry her. I dont understand whyyyy this happensss... Anybody with me on this ??

Problem is when men are not masculine and not willing to provide them women become more masculine to provide for themselves. So men are having a conflict with this. Also cultural issues get muddled up here. And the other problem is that some percentage of women will be more driven and all that naturally, so we have to allow for these kind of women to be accepted as they are

Mr. Ranveer, I respect and appreciate your efforts but the Bollywood celebrities are already in the limelight most of the time. Instead of doing a podcast with them, please focus on other burning issues. The mental health of our country's youth is declining at a very high rate. A lot of college students nowadays are ending their lives due to depression and stress. Sincerely request you to please have more podcasts with mental health professionals so that the youth will know better how to manage their mental health.

I am just venting out in the open, no need to read.

My father can't handle my mother's ambitious nature. She is a leo that too a mulank no. 1 by birth. Bro you chose such a person to begin with that too by going to extreme lengths by doing stuff to get your kundlis match anyhow. I wish they were more compatible though, more happy with each other and affectionate. I wouldn't even mind if they love each other more than they love me. One has insecurities, extreme male ego, patriarchal, communication less, needy attitude, frugal with her(not with us at all) and the other is ambitious, go getter, grudgy, harsh with words, egoistic (as a defence to his ego though)says things she doesn't mean and sometimes manipulative. At this age i don't know how to change their mindsets and attitudes but as an empath and overthinker m ruined honestly 😭😭 I have my own problems, I don't know what to do about them! Can't even ignore them and tell them to stop involving me as who else will they share their inner burdens to otherwise. But they just make me soo anxious like ...real wala anxiety. Because of them I don't even want to get married ever inspite of being a hopeless romantic. ....being a human being is so tough.
