For a fiver you really can't go wrong. Rather than attempt to do it yourself, it's always better to take it to a professional to avoid doing something wrong and risking more damage. I recommend these guys too, Sheffield based, all authentic parts, proper repairs done right and top notch service!

This guy was honest about it. I like him. I mean I support it. He provides a service to people who are too ignorant to figure out you can do it yourself. If you just use a little bit of common sense. I work in IT and I understand his pain.

I worked for a phone repair place. I was on front and customer came in with a iPhone 6 same complaint and we cleaned it out. Repair tech wanted me to charge him for a port replacement. I got quite mad about it saying it’s not honest. I ended up saying to customer we got it fixed just needed a clean (I charged him $10 instead of $60 for a port)
