Hola a todos, en este video el uso de los dos diodos en serie no tiene ningún sentido, es totalmente redundante, con uno solo es exactamente igual. El diodo rectifica la corriente alterna permitiendo solo la circulación de un semiciclo. Eso da como resultado una reducción de la TENSIÓN a la mitad, y por lo tanto de la potencia a la CUARTA PARTE. Recordar que P=V^2/R. Pude resultar útil para adaptar un soldador de 110V para ser usado con 220V sin dañarlo. Saludos!

Tengo un recuerdo de hace 45 años con un soldador jvc (en esa epoca de estudiante no daba para comprarlo), que tenia un pulsador con el cual puenteaba un diodo para darle mas temperatura durante un breve tiempo te lo decia en la caja. Esa tecnologia la use con con soldador chino y no queme mas puntas.
