How preload works on my coil fork #Shorts

While washing my bike, I noticed one of the nuts in the lowers were loose and the entire right leg was filled with water. Out of curiosity, I tightened the nut and tried compressing my fork and as expected it was “locked out”. I guess that’s how you get a ‘hydraulic lock out’ on these cheap suntour coil fork.

I don't understand ... From what I can see, it is an ordinary damper with two springs. Whatever fluid was at the bottom, pressing several times would remove the air, not the fluid. I suppose the water is supplied from the bottom of the damper for the recording ...
