There is a fine line between being a “pleaser” and making the other person feel important or heard. I think the difference (from this video) is that one is insecurity (still self-centered) and the other is from genuine consideration of the other person (outward-oriented and generous). I think that’s one of the most difficult things to balance.

Robert, more than 10 years ago, your books were a reference on some self-development/Pickup Artist person or community, and that that time I didn't took too much attention on yours books because I was not mature enough. And the sad part is I believe some people who recommended your books they also don't have the maturity, life experiences and sophistication to appreciate your works.
