even though the final examples form is (x=9) and doesn't have a y in it, youd still say it's written in terms of x and y right? why didnt you sub sqrt(x squared + y squared) and then solve for y like the others? i know it's way more complicated but wouldnt it leave a y in the eq at the end? good video helped a lot
