You can make the vast majority of your videos using only three Mac apps: iMovie, Keynote, and QuickTime Player. These apps are free and come bundled with every Mac (at least at the time of making this video). I 100% totally agree with you that these three apps are all you need to produce high quality professional looking videos for posting on social media. There really is no reason to burden yourself with trying to learn Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier. Unless you are planning to produce independent films or commercials for high end clients. iMovie is all I use for editing as it's all I know how to use. The M1 iMac's webcam is my camera. Very simple videos this way.

that's exactly how I do my videos! didn't know though, that you can actually import single objctes and anmations from keynote! i usually just capture the whole slide, but that is so much more better!
