I was so lost in class, and now it seems very straight forward. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you. Your knowledge of how a fraction of an exponent is the same as the that corresponding denominators square root really really helped me understand math better. Thank you man.

What if you have an equation like x^1/2 + √3x^1/4 - 18 = 0, I've seen a lot of videos but not if the middle term is under a square root, I've seen it with the x under the square root but I've already tried and it didn't come up with anything, am I just stupid or is there a way to do this?

i was under the impression that these problems should always have four answers? the second and third examples only had two answers. So I guess what I'm asking is does this video have mistakes or is it only under specific circumstances that the answer will be plus or minus? MathWithMisterA

Great presentation. I dont get the last part..-square rooting both sides. I dont get your answer of that. To square root: X^2 = + or - the square root of 3. The square root of three is 1.73. Can you explain?

I don't understand how you got the answer x=1, x=4/3in the very last problem.

he didn't explain thoroughly you must be wondering how he got 4 and 9
in the last one, you square root 2 and 3
he also means this
(2)2 and (3)3
to get 4 and 9
he used the wrong sign
I hope this helps

Why don't you show all your work? it's so confusing to see you jump from one equation to the next with the small in between steps.
