Remember guys that the vertex formula is y = a ( x - h ) + k so in this example, that +3 becomes in -3 when plugged in to -h

he talks kinda slow, but i can can just speed up the video. i love how he gives examples for the values instead of trying to explain using the letter values like teachers do. love the completing the square concept on this too. you can find it on his channel. i watched it a while back and i somehow still remember. content is 10/10

This part of algebra always makes me so angry, why do schools teach you basically a trick without explaining why this works. It makes it impossible for me to see the logic when I just have to remember some steps as opposed to really know where this comes from.
