Eddsworld Bootlegs! They exist for some reason. Today we'll be diving into the world of fake Eddsworld merch, stolen fanart printed on the strangest of Redbubble products produce some of the most cursed Eddsworld images outside of all that weird Tomtord stuff.

A note to artists: I'd like to clarify that I am by no means critiquing your work in this video. I actually came across some pretty incredible designs that probably would make for a killer poster or t-shirt or something were it not infringing on Eddsworld's copyright. However, the way thoughtless scammers slap these gorgeous designs onto phone cases and bedsheets for easy money is clearly a disgrace to the artwork they're stealing.

I hope we can all laugh at the absurd decisions made by clueless bootleggers while ALSO acknowledging the beautiful artwork they're stealing and the seriousness of that theft.

I remember when I was at a mall in the Philippines I saw this 40 year old walking with his wife and young children wearing an Eddsworld shirt, and I concluded that Eddsworld can now be found at local street markets where copyright need not apply

Edd’s old Cafepress page is still up, too, as well as most of the merch he designed for it. The first Eddsworld merch I ever bought was a pin from that page that Edd designed of himself, Matt, Tord, and Tom’s faces all on it.

I have a bootleg version of the Legacy “Edd Gould” black t shirt, the one with Edd holding the planet earth in his hands. The original isn’t available anymore, nor has it been for years, hence the bootleg purchase.
I do have one official Eddsworld shirt that I purchased two years ago, however, which was part of a limited time Tord-themed, “Redtober, ” line. Parodying the Edd Broccoli shirt, the official Tord shirt has him screaming for Bacon!

if i had the money i would buy every and anything being sold in the eddsworld store, but since i have no money i had to go the cheap way and print a poster to paste it on my wall. it dosent look the best, but trust me, i would actually die to have anything official from eddsworld

I have a bootlegged eddsworld bag that my brother got for my birthday, I’m really disappointed that I supported stolen fanart on bootleg merch but it holds a dear place in my heart

The stealing fanart is the worst. Image being the owner of the art and coming across it on the web. God, these people are awful.

The only bootlegs I actually buy are bootleg plushies. I don't really go for the stolen fanart on shirts or pants because those are just the most shameless knockoffs. At least bootleg plushies have some sense of quality.

I actually use DeviantArt Protect because I share my art on DeviantArt because I don't want my art stolen and sold.

as an artist on redbuble I find it sad the site isn't known for the actual talent that real artist put into shirts and products, but these bootleggers who just slightly edit photos and say "OuRs NoT sToLeN"
