Eddsworld: Meet The Neighbors

Today we dive deep into the world of the Eddsworld Neighbours: Eduardo, Mark, and Jon.

It's been a while since I've uploaded, hasn't it? This video probably took longer than any other I've made from original concept to finished product. It started when a user going by "Davey" at the time on Discord suggested a video about the neighbours to me, and since then a few people have suggested making a video where I talk about Todd (the neighbour version of Tord). I hope this is what they had in mind.

Honestly old west Todd being the ancestors to neighbor Todd makes sense since he was neutral to the whole thing and present day him is probably just as neutral and say out his roommates fights which is why he is never present. Because if Tord is Chaotic then Todd is sane

I always thought that Saloonatics was just Edd imagining the characters as people he knew. And so he also imagined the bartender as Tord or something. Maybe he’s met Todd and imagined the bartender as todd

I'd argue that Mark also is the opposite of Matt in another aspect. It's fairly easy to tell Mark talks and does the least out of the three neighbours, which is a contrast to Matt who has had multiple episodes where he is a central part of the story, (The whole Zombeh trilogy, Matt sucks, Date Night, Hammer & Fail), and who has some of the most memorable lines in the series. IDK what my point really is, but I felt like bringing it up.

Personally I don’t feel like Jon is really that bad of a guy. It seems to me like he just acts mean to Edd and the gang just to fit in with Edwardo and Mark.

When you think about it, hasn't Tord kinda inadvertently killed off two of the people Eduardo cared about? The shoe that killed laurel, I've heard was Tords, and Jon got damaged by the explosion (due to his robot) to their house. Man. (I admit, the shoes a stretch, but it's still a funny coincidence)

I'm glad the neighbors are getting more attention now tho, hopefully we see more of them in the future beyond episodes

Wait, if Todd's the counterpart of Tord, then is there a counterpart for Ringo? Even if has never been shown, that'd be cool

One slight correction at the part 8:35 we can see that Eduardo still remembers the day he was bullied by Edd and the entire class since we can see the drawing edd made that day hit by some darts in the backround. Loving your videos :3

has anyone noticed that in the same scene as the mysterious neighbor, u see Edd's drawing as a dartboard on the wall? this confirms child trauma for Eduardo (thanks for the spelling correction  @ᴀᴡᴀ ᴅɪ ᴍᴀʀᴢᴀᴘᴀɴᴇ)

What if Tord never actually came back. Would if Eduardo hired Todd to pretend to be Tord and wanted him to kill Tom to get revenge on Edd, but Todd was tired of Eduardo bullying him so he killed Jon instead?

I really like how you made the transition of talking about the neighbors to talking about if there's a neighbor version of tord the same as your intro to if there's a female version of tord in your other video
