When I was growing up in Korea in the 80s and 90s, we'd have these delivered weekly. The delivery person was always a woman and was distinctive because they wore like a brown or yellow uniform, a special hat, and wheeled around a yellow cart, iirc. They didn't deliver anything else. Just this.

This is so popular in the Philippines. I grew up in the 80s drinking this. More than 3 decades after, it's still popular and the packaging hasn't changed.

There is a Yakult factory nearby where I live and it is common to see Yakult selling van driving around the neighbourhood with a loudspeaker repeating Yakult, Yakult, Yakult.

Had a bad case of food poisoning one time, and my gut wasn't the same after, a friend suggested taking Yakult for a while, I took it for about two months and I swear within days my gut started to feel better.

Years ago, my brother had a small dog down sick and not eating or drinking, and the veterinarian who saw it recommended giving it YAKULT. Lo and behold, the dog recovered within 24 hours and lived his full life thereafter.

The problem with Yakult is high sugar content. They have the less sugar version btw.

my mom used to work for Yakult as a door to door seller with a giant Yakult cart you will put ice in and the yakult bottles in bulk and they made them memorize that speech lol, whenever someone asks how it works, they must be able to say that word for word so it's ingrained in my mind
