Yes, a counter left hook is a great punch. KO'd my first ever opponent in a fight with that punch when I was 17 bc my Dad showed me how Frazier knocked down Ali with a counter left hook when I was 15-16. Figured if it worked against Ali it'll work against this idiot in front of me.

important to note: this isn’t a full left hook, this is actually considered a check hook. as you can see he blocks the opponents right with his left and throws with the same hand he blocks with, a tactic used for unpredictability because anyone would expect a right hook to come back at them, it’s important to remember that the punch is not a power punch and less of a hook and more of a loop

We call this "Pugno della Domenica" (Sunday's punch). It's pretty great to tune down and punish excessively aggressive opponents
