Skyrim: 5 Things They Never Told You About Hagravens

Skyrim is a land filled with all sorts of strange and spooky creatures. But among the most terrifying foes that inhabit the wilds of The Elder Scrolls 5, Hagravens stand out as a uniquely repulsive foe. An awkward combination of elderly-woman and crow, Hagravens are known to work with Daedric magic and have a knack for attacking unprepared travelers in the wild of Skyrim. More intelligent than your average critter, they're capable of communicating with mortals and some are even known to entertain alliances with Skyrim's population of Forsworn in the Reach. Shrouded in feathers and mystery, little is known about these odd bird folks and it's about time we investigate them further. So today we'll be taking a look at five things you (probably) didn't know about the Hagravens of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

Last time I was this early, Isobel, Etienne and Fallaise were all human.

Sometimes I struggle to sleep at night, too busy laying there thinking, "I wonder how many more things we don't know about skyrim"

Anise is bad because she has an arcane enchanter, strange poisons, spell books and human skulls?
Sounds like every Dragonborn home ever.

Nate: "hagravens are one of the most disgusting creatures ever."

Also Nate: "the first thing you probably wondered was how they are created."

I'll be honest, I always felt kind of bad for Moira. I mean, she fell in love only to have them ask for the ring back and kill her.

Not gonna lie, a night to remember was so good and I almost felt bad for the hagraven you marry.

I use Anise's cabin as a "starting" home for my characters, you can store your loot here and items dont disappear, and its also handy because of the bed and the obvious fact that there is an alchemy and enchanting table to help me out with skills and crafting my things.

The hagraven named Melka is probably one of my favourite NPCs in the entire game, andwould absolutely be my bridesmaid if I ever would give in and get married to Moira.

Just the fact that she actually keeps to her word and gives you the promised reward if you help her, along with a “kill something pretty with it” as she cheerfully waves goodbye to you is just so charming.

i don't think Hircine's entirely evil. i think it depends on what kind of day he's having, or how strong his morning coffee was.

I felt bad that I had to get a ring back from that hagraven, I mean, who wouldn't wanna be married to me, the Thane of every hold, leader of multiple factions and on top of that the dragonborn? 😂😖

I'm so lonely from social distancing even a Hag Raven is starting to look like a warm mug of mead on dark cold night. 🤫

Firstly, that shy grin at 1:53, adorable.

Secondly, with the Hagraves being found at so many different temples for different Daedric God's, could they potentially just worship multiple ones? So got their appearance from Hircine, their blood lust from Namira, and ritual stuff from Peryite.

They each get beings to do their bidding and expand their power base. And seeing how tough Hagravens are, makes sense they got some back up from Daedra

I also like how it seems that hagravens can also have rivalries with each other. I think the one you married accuses you of cheating on her with “that hussy Esmeralda with the glossy feathers”. I really wanted to know more about Esmeralda, and whether she had stolen the hearts (figuratively and/or literally) of our wife’s lovers before.

4:22 Hircine is definitely not evil, he is among minority of the more benign although to a degree, more like True Neutral in D&D terms.
