I am a nurse & was working on the front line in the war against the AIDS epidemic. I saw so many sick young men and we had no idea what was causing it. It was horrible. It was such a waste. I lost so many colleagues & friends. I loved Queen, especially Freddy & was devastated when de died. I saw the signs on him but did not want to believe it! I went to many Queen concerts. We lost such a great soul when he died.

I'm HIV+. Contracted in October of 2014. Diagnosed in November of 2014. Started treatment December 2014. Viral load officially undetectable in January of 2015. (mother love )I was born in 83 and I can still remember how I felt hearing about Freddie Mercury‘s death on GMT in 91 just before I went to school I’ve been a queen fan all my life the song I would choose his mother love I think it’s the most heartbreaking but uplifting musical genius and soul and bravery of Freddie Mercury and of course Brian May to finish the last of the lyrics because Freddie was no longer able To finish it now that passion

My 14 year old hemophiliac son died from aids 6 months before freddie, i miss him😢 my fav Queen song is ‘somebody to love’ i missed a lot of what freddie was going thru due to taking care of my son but i always loved that man & his awesome talent.

We are the Champions and many more! I had three kids growing up during the 70’s but it was me who fell in love with Queen. They soon followed. I will still stop whatever I am doing to listen to their music. And I am 81 years old. Their music goes on forever.
