i just switched my entire family over to linens, so that made me smile! my mum has been buying napkins for years even though we had a LARGE collection of linens, and we finally decided it was time to stop :)

Using cellulose cloth as paper towel, cleaning rag. It is 100% compostable. It is very easy to wash. I sanitize it in microwave oven for 2 min before drying dish. It is much easier to use than the cotton dish cloth I knitted.

Great video and growing your own food is a good way to reduce food waste and for those who have a garden/allotment it should be encouraged. It's annoying that too much food is packed in plastic and other packaging that isn't recyclable.

When you grow your own food, you’re also in charge as to what goes into the food. No sprays and pesticides. Composted horse manure and wood chips are going to be your best friend. 💚

When I get my own place, I plan to grow my own things, maybe get into CSA, Misfit Market, and MAYBE daily harvest. 😁

Great tips.. if only we had more time to put them into action. Life has become so hectic these days!

Before compositing it you can make vegetable stock with your food scraps, just throw in some spices and herbs.

We are aware that we need to take action for the environment. The idea given here is amazing. Although I am still struggling with low-waste, still some plastic here and there. I am trying. Starting good thing may takes time but I believe it's worthy. Keep doing your best my friends..

Reusing plastic containers isn't a Latinx thing. It's a "my family didn't want to waste money, " thing. I've known all sorts of people that do that

the market systems r FUCKED UP.
buying a pack of bell peppers, avocados, oranges, etc etc is SO MUCH CHEAPER in plastic wraps than loose.
it is ridiculous that i can get double the amount of the same item in plastic for a cheaper price than if i buy it loose

WHY WHY WHYYY
i don’t understand !!!
