In the cockpit view comparisons, GT7 seems to be the only one that actually has the animation on the tachometer when you're about to reach the redline.

Other than that, both FH5 and GT7 sound and look great.

Really wish i could play GT7, damn. Trial Mountain and High Speed Ring, that's my childhood right there.
And with the absurd level of detail FH5 has while still being an open world, and how FM7 looked 4 years ago, i can't wait to see the new Forza Motorsport. With it having a new version of that engine, with more accurate physics, closed tracks instead of open world, and being exclusive to new consoles and PC, it's probably going to be impressive to say the least.

Except for the building structure, I prefer the lighting, shadows, and reflections on the GT7; however, the FH5 wins in terms of environmental design.

GT7 is gorgeous. FH5 is gorgeous. They nail aspects amazingly in their own way. Polyphony and Playground/Turn10 are truly masters of their craft. But for me, the hyper-realism of GT7 isn't my jam... not knocking it. Something about that style of almost too realistic just feels off to me. But I would be lying if I said it wasn't impressive.

I'm only about two minutes into the video and it's honestly hilarious how bad project cars 3 looks.

Gran turismo takes advantage of next gen tech while forza is pushing the last gen engine to the absolute limit. Project cars though? It just looks rough

Project car should have kept in the more realistic spectrum. They tried to go with a more arcade/accessible approach and it bite them back hard.

The sounds of Gran Turismo and Forza are undoubtedly excellent, but still, GT is that typical example where they focus the audio only on the roar of the car, leaving it more embellished, unlike Forza that purposely has the audio "dirtier" by try to reproduce something more ambient, which makes Forza more realistic in a general context, but GT doesn't let it be very good either.

A big problem is that a lot of viewers are watching this through their phones and phones don't generally reproduces bass all that well. When you play this through a decently configured sound system with a sub woofer, GT7's sound really shines as both FH5 and PC3 lacks a lot in the lower frequencies.

The fact that FH5 is competing and beating GT in some areas is impressive..it's an open world game.. rendering alot more than the cars and tracks.. it has no business being technically as great as it is .

Throw in things like physics.. especially off road physics...and Forza horizon 5 is a technical masterpiece..which looks good for the next motorsport.

GT7 vs FH5
Sound - The Supra GT7 is more accurate but on FH5 it sounds more detailed and realistic. I watch a some car sound comparison between both games and majority of the car sounds are better on FH5 in my opinion.
Graphics - GT7 for the car models and lighting (except for the excessive lens bloom effects), FH5 for the detailed environments and textures.
Sense of Speed - Easily FH5, GT7 feels slow and stiff.

Project Cars 3.... Sorry bud I'd rather play PC2 and that game even looks better and a true sim.

GT7 and FH5 are probably one of the best racing games ever made right now and glad it exists for different purposes. Can't wait for Motorsport 8 to be released. Another awesome video DJS!

My only issue with GT7 is that the environments look too clean, a bit lifeless at times. When I’m racing I’m too busy focusing on my braking points and looking for the apex etc to care, so it doesn’t affect how much I enjoy the game, but having seen what the PS5 can do with other games, it could have been better. Still a fantastic game though

The only thing that Forza is missing compared to GT is the full 360 degree steering, I think that would add so much to the game.

Geez, GT as always has the cockpit on point, I still don't know why on Forza they don't have the animations for the gauge cluster or the little Speed Numbers in the Windshield
