one thing I don't like about GT is the cars always look like they're floating. the track is perfectly smooth, the chassis never sways or moves, and it just doesn't feel like the car's interacting with the road at all. not that Forza is perfect, but at least you can feel there's imperfections in the road and the car reacts to them a little.

The Forza games aim for graphical pop, while GT aims for a more natural looking aesthetic.

In my opinion I think Forza motorsport have more realistic world, the water on the ground, the reaction of the water when the car is moving, the way that the water slow down the car and push it sideways !! While GT7 the graphics looks more real, the car, lights looks more realistic 💯 but I would love to own both 🔥

Normalmente acho GT7 mais bonito.. mas nessa Forza me chamou mais atenção.. torço muito pra que o jogo melhore cada vez mais com os updates mensais.. GT7 ja ta bem redondinho.. Forza merece muito.. só com o tempo mesmo pra gente ver..

Uma coisa que me incomoda no Forza é que eles inventam um monte de coisa na pista, fazendo com que elas percam a fidelidade. Na chuva colocam aquele espelho no chão que é bonito, mas não é realista. Em Spa, por exemplo, as árvores são lindas, mas todas compridas, são árvores diferentes do que existe na vida real. E Nurburgring inventaram postes de iluminação por toda a pista que não existem, e principalmente à noite acaba com a ambientação da pista, que o legal é a escuridão e apenas o seu farol iluminando a pista. São decisões que fariam sentido em um jogo arcade, mas quando a coisa é voltada pra simulação é algo que eu acho bem ruim, abrir mão do realismo para deixar as coisas visualmente bonitas.

Sou muito fã da GT mas a Forza realmente é top demais também, pra mim Forza apesar de alguns acharem exagerado, mas pra mim é superior a GT 7 nesse quesito

Forza has excellent graphics, but GT7 makes it look amateurish. GT7 has much smoother animations, it is also more atmospheric. In fact, all GTs, since the first one for psx, have always impressed me in these aspects.

Take all the particle effects and map detail of Forza and slap it into Gran Turismo 7 with it's superior lighting and material work you have the best of both worlds. Take it to the next level and add Driveclub's rain effects on the windshield and it's a mega racer.

I have both games and play them on their respective consoles(XSX and PS5) but I’ve had been spending some time exclusively with GT7 recently and I have to agree that the package as a whole it is a better product/game, mainly because the progression system is more straightforward and feels more rewarding. As for the which one has the best game engine both games are gorgeous to boot but without a doubt Forza is more advanced both in graphics, physics, car damage and environment. Both are great games, if you don’t have both games you’re in for a great experience with either one if you like racing.
