Gran Turismo may look gorgeous at times, but if a 5 year old game can look just as good, or even better in some cases, I simply cannot imagine how stunning Forza Motorsport will look.

Forza 7 is 4.5 years old ..., it's even delisted because of licensing (so they didn't even think about next gen optimization)

Even without ray tracing, Forza Motorsport 7 looks absolutely amazing! Sometimes looks even better than GT7! I can’t imagine how the upcoming. Forza Motorsport will look WITH ray tracing

This is also another great piece of evidence that Ray-Tracing is not needed for good lighting, shadows, and reflections. All you need is good time spent fixing up the graphics.

Edit: For example: RDR2. Rockstar utilised their game engine to the point where the game's graphics look like they’re Ray-Traced, yet the game doesn't even have it. Companies have the ability to recreate Ray-Traced graphics but choose to rely on Ray-Tracing to do their graphics work for them.

Wow forza 7 holds up pretty well. Didnt though it would destroy gt 7 when it comes to rain, reflections, car damage model, smoke effects and shadows. We got to a point where there are minimal graphical improvements between 2017 racing game and 2022 one.

Que si, que se puede "arreglar" en las opciones, que si. Pero es que ni "arreglandola" jaja el que se vea tan recto en curvas da la sensación de que el coche no es el que se mueve sino su entorno, no se si me explico xD que el coche esta quieto y solo va cambiando el escenario.

There has been a lot of praise given to GT7 since its release, but this comparison certainly proves that FM7 has a graphical edge over its more modern counterpart. Not bad for a 5-year-old game.

People need to realize that this Gran Turismo game looks lazy and phoned in at times. Here's the deal, a 2022 game should look miles ahead of anything that came out in 2017. We're talking about a generational leap in hardware capabilities, this is not a generational leap in visuals. At best it's a modest improvement.

It is truly amazing what Forza Motorsport 7 was able to accomplish almost 5 years ago at this point in time. I have been holding off of spending $70 on GT7 for the PS5, as I am anxiously waiting for FM8. Thanks for the video! Great Quality!

Considering Forza have 5 years old and looks better in majority of aspects, even with GT7 with Ray Tracing on, that deserves its merits. Can't wait to see the new Motorsport.

I thought this was not true until I played the game on a store few days ago, in a big TV, and this is true. You can see difference there.
