We as wrestlers talk about a brotherhood that we have. Ever since I retired I haven't heard from anyone that I've worked with. I wrestled from 2003 to 2007. I'm convinced that no matter how much damage we did to each other in that ring I will never see any of them again and they definitely won't be at my funeral. That's just how it is. I reached out to the guy who broke me into the business and he refused to answer my Facebook message today. We never had any beef and never had any arguments.

I can't believe nobody showed up for Mean Gene's funeral, he was a legend.

Sadly, Rick's death was clearly not enough of a wakeup call to Curt, my all time favorite wrestler, and we ended up losing him far too soon as well.

Curt was caught off-guard with this interview I had never seen him shaken like that. He was pissed that guy brought this up without asking him first.

I'm so glad Book went to Sister Sherri's funeral. He has spoken how she always looked out for Stevie Ray and him.

I'd be willing to bet that Gene was the type of guy that probably showed up to everyone's funeral too

I really wish Curt Henning was still around, one of my favorites and would've loved to see him do some shoot interviews.

I met Sherri Martel when she came to watch my tryout match for a wrestling company in Kentucky . I had ZERO clue some one like her would be there and I was starstruck, it caught me off guard so much ! But she was so sweet and nice, even though she ripped me apart on some of my match lol ! But she was awesome and that was a moment I will never forget ! RIP Sherri and all my other fallen heroes .

I know a lot of people hated my dad but ole Anderson is now in hospice care in Macon Georgia. He’s not having a funeral or memorial service and it’s very difficult to deal with. He lost over 100 hundred pounds and has been bed ridden for several months. If anyone out there knows who he was to the sport, send some love for him. He was a great dad and so different on television. He will be missed by all of our family so please, try and find a way to send love to him and the wonderful woman who’s been caring for him the last 20 years. Marsha is an incredible person and she recently lost her mother as well. It’s not easy for her I know. Much respect for all those people in the business that seem to get forgotten. Rick rude was starting a business venture with my dad just before he passed and it really shoot him up. Don’t forget, it’s a sport, not a soap. Everyone deserves to be remembered….

hogan and flair both should have been at Gene's funeral carrying the casket. thats how much he meant to their careers. unbelieveable. outside of being in the hospital...absolutely zero excuse.

My dad died in 2014. He had worked at the same plant for 30 years. He had lived in the same town for 50 years. His funeral was standing room only. I spoke at his funeral, and I thanked all those folks for coming. I've been to dozens of funerals. But my dad's funeral was really something. He was loved and highly favored not only by GOD, but by his peers, his family, and his community.

Mean Gene was the voice of the 1980's WWF Huylkamania Era.... Can ANY fan from that era start any show without hearing "you know something mean Gene" Or in the 90's hearing Ric Flair start every interview His voice helped make wrestlers just as much as anything else.Gene was the voice of my childhood

The way Curt shot at the interviewer at the end of the interview. Some things you better ask me first before we start sort of thing.

Greatest of all time, Curt Hennig I will forever carry your name, you are truly missed. Rest in Power.

You could tell Hennig was really speaking from the heart because he flubbed a couple of times. That don't happen often.

I think one of the reasons why Curt Hennig smacked the interviewer with the rolled up program was that he was irritated that he brought up the real life death of his best friend in what he thought was just another cheesy pro wrestling interview. Pro wrestling is a work; Rude's death was a shoot in that it was real.

Kurt did a great job protecting the business and his character there.
