At the end you can hear him choke up when he said "Come and ask me fIrSt". Heart breaking to watch a guy so powerful try and hold back emotions like that.

Curt the consummate professional, you could tell he was very annoyed that they just brought up Rude's passing for content for their WCW website, but he still went along and tried to stay in character even at the end when he was all basically "yo ask me before you do shit like this"

That interviewer was lucky that he only got a tap with a piece of paper, went from “talk to us about your match coming up” to “talk to us about the real life death of your best friend”, sad thing is how less than 4 years later, that would be Curt Hennig gone as well

That was just WRONG for the interviewer to ask. Even if he was told to do so he could have refused. Curt and Rick were like brothers. And that's no bullshit. Rick himself said that even their fathers had a long standing friendship before Curt and Rick were even born. The part when Curt said he lost his best friend was heart breaking. It looked as though he was going to lose it but being the absolute professional that he is he keeps his shit together and stays in character. I think back when Benoit was crying about Eddie and how each one handled it so much different. To be fair I think Benoit was showing signs that he was beginning to become unraveled.

It wasn't fair to spring that on Curt. Poor guy. Both Curt and Rick were 2 of the best of all time

Funny how they use little guys to interview the wrestlers and make them seem huge.😊

I don’t think it was wrong because Curt told the truth and was honest, sometimes in life stuff needs to be said. They seriously brushed over and ignored Rudes death during that time period
