I just got an Amazon Alexa dot 3rd Generation and I've watched like 20 videos and none of them work my problem is that it has a red ring around it and every time I say Alexa it says "Sorry, I'm Having Trouble understanding right now, please try a little later I've tried to restart it, reset it, same with the router and I also tried moving it from a place and when I go to the devices section in the Alexa app it says "Device Offline. Some settings may not be available" even though my wifi works pretty well please read this and reply.

Turning off the microphone for 30 seconds worked for me, Thanks

I wanted to help you guys. My Alexa Echot dot 3 did the same thing today. After 3 times of pluggin in an out.(5 minutes interval) i chatted one of the amazon rep. Then alexa worked, Asked me to check updates Then it working now..

I just got Amazon alexa 2 generation holding the mic button and volume down button had worked and after I did that I connected my echo dot from the alexa app

Absolutely none of the above C suggestions worked, hence the reason I came to YouTube. My Wi-Fi is working obviously cuz I'm able to put this on yet Alexa claims that she is not able to help so what the hell. She claims she's having trouble yeah nobody knows how to fix it very odd probably why Google is better
