The Wii was my first Nintendo console, although for some reason I got it right before the Wii U released..., instead of just that 😭(It wasn't backwards compatible either, since I got the Family Edition)

Actually, the Wii disc drive (well, the GameCube compatible ones, anyway) can actually read and play DVD videos, but Nintendo didn't feel like paying DVD FLLC royalties for the logo on the box of every Wii.

I still have my launch edition Wii with the stand. I never noticed the Logo was changed in later models to be horizontal! I love the GameCube emulation & controller ports. It's kind of weird that the adult games are on the GameCube mostly.

Fact 40 is the Joycon lights. In reality, player 5 has the first two lights, player 6 with the first three and player 7 with all four. There was no eighth wiimote support

5:45 The LEDs for players 5 to 7 are counting in binary, with the top LED representing the number 4, the 2nd LED is blank, the 3rd LED represents 2 and the 4th LED represents 1, e.g. the 1st and 3rd LED lit result in 4 + 2 = 6. The only odd one out is the number 8 which can't be represented that way.
