Ps5 pro is not for everyone thats the point, its for the hardcore ps fan that wants 60/4k gaming with big TV.

For me it’s worth. I will buy it 100%. Because if i decided to build PC with same power i need to spend more then 1000$. I think 700$ for this power is ok.

If you are the guy that spend premium money on a huge 4k flagship tv you are also the guy that would spend the extra money on a ps5 pro to go with that.

I understand that the gen is disappointing for a lot of people but i guess i am weird because even on my Ps4 i played a lot of 3rd party games than exclusives (play on my couch ). So yeah there have been so many bangers 3rd party games on the PS5. So i can't personally say the gen is disappointing

Sony could really get us if they convince developers to release PS5 Pro only updates to games we’ve been waiting for. Red Dead Redemption 2 4k60, maybe even with ray tracing?

I’m personally not gonna buy the ps5 pro on launch. It cost way too much, and my parents are broke. I will wait till next Christmas to buy it, or they gotta have to showcase new games for the system to make it worth it, because what I’m seeing right now, it ain’t it. $700 here in the US, is ridiculous.

I'm from Europe I tried to build this PC and it ended up being $638 before tax. (Yes, we have some sales now) So I threw in an Xbox Controller, basic keyboard, mouse and Windows license and it's still 40 bucks cheaper than the PS5 Pro price in Europe!!!

*The PS5 Pro has the same processor as the regular PS5. In real tests, it is similar to the Ryzen 5 3600. The Ryzen 5 5500 has the same performance, but is a generation younger. Yes it's very slow by today's standards, but so is the PS5 Pro. Of course we can use a better processor, but so can the PS5 Pro. But it didn't. But they still charge $700! Shameless!

You going to need bigger budget then 700 for pc at if you want to play for bigger games for next five years. If you budget is 700 just get a pro or get the base ps5. There more of a expensive then just building the PC. If you starting from scratch into pc gaming. Unless if you just want to game in 1080.

I wanted to buy it for my psvr2, but I connected my psvr2 to my computer, no pro for now. I have the G4, the image setting is on vivid, I have a 5-year panel warranty, so I'm not worried. The TV is almost always on. Qd oled loses up to 50% of its peak brightness in the long run. You are still playing on the c1, so more reliable technology.

There's an easy answer to getting PS5 games cheaper, buy physical. Of course if you only buy digital PS5 games you're more likely to have to pay full price at launch.

The only thing that annoyed me was not having a more expensive option with a disc drive included. Sony just had to create another market for the scalpers
