I’m the one who hires for the company and I am lucky to have someone who I taught to screen through resumes with those exact parameters, then we rank the candidates and I interview them. It’s awesome!

Frowning on "job-hopping" is such a boomer mentality. You have to job hop nowadays to make more money. Very few companies give significant raises, especially with inflation out of control. You have to job hop to afford to live.

Well looks like I’m out.

Though my job hopping wasn’t by choice. I moved Covid happened then the company I thought was going to be long term sold.

Maybe I’ll eventually get an interview fingers crossed.

I guess job hoping is ok nowadays...coz of financial issues, diff interest...sometimes, those who worked long in a job never aim to upgrade themselves.

Resumes are useless. Personality is everything. You’re looking for intelligence and industriousness and loyalty in my experience. You can’t hide or fake these qualities.

Excellent advice Leila … We’re all under paid so I think bosses should NOTICE good employees and pay them for it. But the economy is so bad now idk 🤷‍♀️

There’s so many people that “job hop” because of very good reasons. I left an hvac company after 5 years because of covid and my daughter needed someone home during online schooling. I left chewy because even as a daily top performer they might actually be the worst place any American can work for. Helped my friend grow a junk removal business but left because after promising percentage for helping him grow it in his name he fucked me and decided to pay EVERYONE but himself 17 an hour. Of course there are “job hoppers” that are just lazy, but in today’s America there’s so many that are doing it because they know their worth

You’d pass me up and you’d be worse for it. Do not listen to this woman.
